Remember.

Spanish students remember Spain.

Mill.

Languages. Esther.

The lenguages are very different.
In Spain we speak Galician and Spanish, and they are very similarities.
We can speak perfectly both of them.
In Holland there are only one lenguage and it´s very difficult to learn.

One day in Brielle´s high school.

When we stayed in Holland, we only went to school once.
I got up at half past six because we had to go by tube to Spijkenisse and then by bus to Brielle.
When I arrived, I saw that their high school was bigger than our school and the classes were very different.
My first class was biology, then we had a break. Later we had maths, Dutch and English. After that we had another break for eat something and finally we had German and Phisics.
When the classes had finished we went to see all the animals. There were hamsters, mice, cows, sheeps, goats, ducks...
I liked the high school but I wanted to go more times.

ONE DAY IN BRIELLE SCHOOL

Hello!I´m going to speak about the cooking lessons.
We only went one day at school and we did a pizza in the cooking class.
In Holland school is diferent from our school because in our school there aren´t practical lessons like cooking,gardening,farming...
We wanted to go to school more days but it was imposible.
The school is very big,our school is smaller than their school.
I went with dutch people to cooking lesson and I had fun because I only cook sometimes and this class was very amusing. We cooked a pizza.
Next we ate our pizzas and it was delicious.I was hungry because I didn´t eat nothing before that day.

ROSII: School :)

I am going to speak about the Brielle´s school. First, I got up at six o'clock and when we was ready we walked to the bus stop. Then we went by bus towards the school. When I saw the school I thought that the school is very big. All the students looked at us like we were aliens and we were very nervous but then we was more calm. The school is very different. In Laracha we habe to study in all the classes but In Brielle not. In Brielle's school they have got classes more funny and you can learn to cook, to look after animals, to work in the garden, to build frames...

When I was in Holland, I went to cooking's class. The classroom has many ovens, sinks, pots, pans and food. The teacher was very nice with us because then we could eat the pizza that we made before.

In general, the school is very beautifull and I like it.

The bikes.

In Holland the bikes are a mean of transport, but in Spain we only ride bikes to have fun.
It is because in Holland there is a special track for bikes and the country is very flat. In Galicia there are a lot of slopes and it´s very difficult and tiring.
Here all people have got bikes to go everywhere.
I think it´s good because is a way to take care of the environment.
If everybody travelled by bike there would be less polution.

The dikes.

We learnt that Holland is below the sea level, so it´s very dangerous becouse the water can flood the villages. This happened 50 years ago and a lot of people died.
Now they are building dikes to stop the water from flooding the land.
We visited the biggest and the most important dike in Holland.
It was an interesting visit because we also saw a film about how they build the dikes.
in the dutch villages there are a lot of canals, so people teach small kids how to swim so that they don´t drown if they fall into one of these canals.

Farewell dinner

In the begining of the day we saw an old church that was very high and with a lot of steps, we had to climb them so it was very hard. All people were tired when it finished.
Then we got down and went to see an old mill in two groups. It was raining a lot so we were very pleased when we went inside. The steps of the mill were very inclined and climbing down was dificult.More dificult than climbing up.
Later we went to a place where gunpowder was kept in the old days, and there we ate pancakes that a lady cooked for us there. When we finished we went to the school to cook the farewell dinner.
All the dutch families and the spanish students were in the kitchen helping to make the food.
When the food was ready we went to the teachers room for eat together.
The food was tasty but I didn´t know what I was eating.
I was sitting next to Sharyn, my dutch partner, and Tannia, my friend.
We ate a lot and when Sharyn gave me raw fish I didn´t like it , but she told me that it was typical dutch food.
After the dinner we ate a delicious milk-shake for dessert.
Later the dutch school teachers gave us a present. It was a nice bag with a T-shirt,a pen and some sweets.
It was a nice day.

English in Holland

In Holland dutch people speaks dutch, and sometimes English.
Some people that were born in England lives in Holland and dutch kids also learnt English earlier than spanish.
When we stayed in Holland we saw that some films and channels of television are in English, so it was good because it helped us to understand.
The first days were hard because we didn't understand dutch so we only spoke English. The next days we learnt some words in dutch like doei, hoe is het?, dank U, pindakaas, spaans, goed, alles goed?, doei...and we improved in English.
I think that when our dutch friends come to Spain they are going to learn spanish, allthought they know some words and songs like hola, ¿cómo estás?, ¡qué lindo!, abrazo, adiós, lámpara, te quiero, besos, la cucaracha's song...

ROSII

On Tuesday, it was very nice day. We went to flower park by bus. We were very tired but on the bus we sang. When we arrived at flower park, the teachers let us alone. We took a lot of pictures and saw the flowers. There were many types of flowers: Tulips, roses, hyacints...
A very curious thing is that on the waiter there was many stones and if you wanted you could walk for the stones. At one o'clock we went to eat at restaurant. The food was very expensive and not very good.

That day, after the park we went to the beach but the weather was very cold, so we couldn't swim but we could sunbathe and eat because we were hungry.

Before we arrived home we visited the parliament in The Hague. The Hague is the capital of Holland.

A VERY GOOD DAY!!!!

A day in Amsterdam with Andrea and David.

The first day in Amsterdam was very interesting because we were with Holland people. Next we went to Dungeons. Dungeons is a museum were you can see a lot of scary things. This visit was very interesting because we were meeting our partners in Holland.

In Amsterdam we went to eat in "Mac Donnals" , it was a very good food but the next days the food was very awful for spanish people because in Spain people eat other types of food. We think that in Spain, Holland people are going to eat very well.

Later, in the evening we went to our homes with our Dutch partners. Our families were waiting for us at home.

The nature. Jamao.

What are the diferences between the Spanish and Dutch nature and countryside?

The nature is not very different because the climate is similar.
In Spanish there are a lot of trees but here in Holland there is a lot of grass because there isn’t toxo.
The trees are smaller than Spanish but there are more pines and in Spain there are more eucalyptus.
The water in Holland is very dirty than Spain and there are a lot of dead animals and the water is brown.
The animals are similar but the arquitecture is different because the roofs are very different and there are a lot of terracehouses. People don’t leave in flats in Holland.
The houses here are small or normal but all houses have got a garden and all people have got one or two bikes.
In our home, there are three bedrooms, one kitchen, two toilettes, a garden, and a attic.
The food is different because here we have dinner at six o’clock but in Spain we have dinner at ten or half past ten. Other thing is that in Spain we have lunch at three o’clock but in Holland we have lunch at twelve o’clock.
In Holland people use to bike a lot because there aren’t hills.

The Nature.

The nature is very different than Spain, because here there are a different type of flowers and in Spain there aren’t many flowers.
Here there are some water and many small threes and in Spain the threes are very big.
Here there are a lot of cows and ducks and the ducks here fly and in Spain they don’t fly.
In Spain there are a lot of mountains and here it’s very flat.
Here many people go by bike.
Here the roof is very inclined and the houses are very similar to each other.
Here most people don’t live in flats.
In my house in Nederland there are two gardens two big windows, there is a living-room and a kitchen downstairs, upstairs there are the bedrooms and the toilet.
Here many people have animals in the house, in Spain the animals live in the garden.
Here the food is very different because have dinner and lunch very early, and the people get up very early.
Here the girls every day use make-up.

differences between the Netherlands and Spain

1.In Holland there aren’t any hills. Here it’s flat but in Spain there are a lot of hills.
2.In Holland the tulips is the typical flower and in Spain there aren’t many tulips.
3.In Holland it’s very could and in Spain is more hot.
4.In Holland the people live in houses with a garden but in Spain most people live in flats. The houses where we live are very big, the stairs are very narrow. The living room and the kitchen are downstairs and the bedrooms are upstairs. In the living room there is a very big window without curtains and
The people can see you when you are having dinner. In Spain in the evening we always close the curtains. It’s very strange when you are walking in the street you can see all families having dinner or cooking at home. I don’t like that.
